Thanks for the tip, but I already checked that.

I do use that setting already though, but it is not a server hostname on any of the servers.

Check every servers sendmail.mc ( or sendmail.cf if you edit them directly)
for "masquerade as" settings. It sounds like one of them is set wrong. Start
with the hostnamed server you already suspect.
