format error: can't find EOCD signature

Hi, ok been playing with the debug tool :)

What can cause the following when running mailscanner --debug
--debug-sa?

[20434] dbg: learn: auto-learn? ham=0.1, spam=12, body-points=3.88,
head-points=3.88, learned-points=0
[20434] dbg: learn: auto-learn? no: inside auto-learn thresholds, not
considered ham or spam
Ignore errors about failing to find EOCD signature
format error: can't find EOCD signature 
 at /usr/sbin/MailScanner line 820
Stopping now as you are debugging me.

This is on a different machine to the previous problems with the choked
hold directory btw.
