Add ID to email headers?

Hi all,

My setup: Postfix 2.4.3, MailScanner 4.61.7, MailWatch 1.0.3
Would any of you know if it is possible (if need be with a small patch) 
to add the ID field that mailwatch uses to a header in the outgoing emails?
I'd like to add something like X-orgname-MailScanner-ID so I can easily 
trace back messages I get questions about.
