Mailscanner not working after update on Fedora 8

Mail is coming and going finaly. Thank you all so much for your help with
this.
May I bother you with one more issue? When I look into the maillog file I
keep seeing this before each message that is delivered:
Virus and Content Scanning: Starting
Nov 12 14:46:12 MailScanner[6535]: ERROR: Not supported data format
Any idea what this means? Is the virus scanner I am using, clamav, not
working?
