They are (part of) the SpamAssassin "whitelist" functions ... The
"default" ones add a smaller negative score (something like -7.5 by
default, IIRC)... A good way of keeping
"spammy-looking-non-spam-senders" in the clear, so to speak.

man Mail::SpamAssassin::Conf
or
perldoc Mail::SpamAssassin::Conf
for the def_whitelist_from_rcvd entry, and
man Mail::SpamAssassin::Plugin::SPF
or
perldoc Mail::SpamAssassin::Plugin::SPF
for the def_whitelist_spf.
I'm sure there are appropriate and informative and just purely kosher
dokumentation over at the spamassassin site, but I'm too lazy to dig
them up for you:-).
