Since the OP essentially spammed this list (it is after all MailScanner
list, not BMX list, how long do you think anyone would last here if they
conducted a conversation advertising MIMEDefang), he sprouted figures
I simply showed that I don't need to goto commercial apps to have a tight
network, it's one of the reasons we got rid of that sophos implementation
a few years back, and more recently ironport. Using milters, feeding the
same crud into it over a week, MailScanner still came out ahead, it beats
MIMEDefang only in efficiency of handling large continual concurrent
connections.
