Ha ha. Well, sorry, was a bit distracted. Since it was running in debug 
mode, the delay was because someone was talking to me and it took me a 
few seconds before I typed "service MailScanner start". Normally, the 
"be-atches" (ha ha) seem to average ~7 to ~12 seconds.
