Sudden slowness to respond to mail

Well it ended up being this in the sendmail.mc file:

dnl # FEATURE(`dnsbl', `relays.ordb.org', `"550 Mail from " $`'&{client_addr} " refused
- see http://relays.ordb.org/"')dnl

Once it was commented out, sendmail started responding in less then a second.
