Clarifying Whitelist syntax

We're trying to resolve some issues, and would appreciate clarification of 
the following.

We have a common domain suffix as follows..

	users@[various_school_names].school.nz

and would like to whitelist all and any email with this suffix. So in
whitelist rules, which of the folowing should we use?

>From   school.nz  Yes

OR?

>From  .school.nz  Yes

OR?

>From  *.school.nz   Yes
