Whitelists not working properly

I have noticed for the past few months, not sure when it started, but 
not all whitelist entries are getting picked up. For instance, I just added

>From                                 To
*@www.pixologic.com   *@*

Yet maillog shows a message from that domain tagged as SPAM?
