The last two major upgrades of libclamav resulted in the removal and
addition of several symbols used by Mail::ClamAV and these changes were not
backward compatible so as to allow for 3d part developers time to modify
their software. This brought Mail::ClamAV to a halt until the developer
could make the required changes and the time required was measured in weeks
in both incidents.
