Archiving with MailScanner

I was wondering how one could archive e-mails by domain, then make it 
possible for a non-admin to browse and "release" email.  The store 
option seems to be nice, but I think it would increase the size of the 
MailWatch DB so much if we want to keep archives for a year for example...
