Duplicated mail after upgrading

I have been using MailScanner for about a year now with out problems 
I have just upgraded to the latest stable version and since the 
upgrade mail is being sent out in duplicate and on rare occasions triplicate.

I have been through the .conf file line by line on numerous occasions 
but can find nothing untoward.

I am using Sendmail as the MTA and F-Secure as Virus Scanner, it is 
also integrated with LSoft's Listserv.

Anyone have any ideas where I should be looking as nothing else was 
upgraded at the same time.
