I found a rather large dcc log directory myself recently too. The 
directory metadata (as reported by ls -ld on the directory) was over 70 
MBytes! So it must have had a few hundred thousand files in it. I have 
since changed
DCCM_LOG_AT=50
in /var/dcc/dcc_conf
and it has stopped it.
