Probably not a bad idea, I get it wrong occasionally myself :-)

Do you want it all in the filename, or just in the directory it unpacks 
into?

Absolutely. Just make sure that the entry for ClamAV in 
/etc/MailScanner/virus.scanners.conf points to the right place for your 
installation of ClamAV. It will be right for my install-Clam-SA package. 
It may be wrong for some RPM installations.
