Julian,

Easter 2007 is April 8.  Maine is still a bit raw at that time of
year.  Start in the southern US and go north during your three weeks,
it will (hopefully) be  nicer here in late April.  Don't miss the 
cherry blossoms in Washington DC if you are going there.
