SA AWL scoring

I recognized that there is quite a difference between the AWL score that I 
get from Spamassassin when run on the command line in contrast to what SA 
says when run via MailScanner. What causes this difference?

SA on command line (root): AWL 0.08
SA via MailScanner: AWL 1.7

on the same message.
