In MailScanner.conf look for the line

Allowed Sophos Error Messages

I have mine set to the following..

Allowed Sophos Error Messages = "corrupt", "format not supported", "File was
encrypted", "The main body of virus data is out of date"

(all one line of course - my email client will no doubt split the line ;-(
