Sendmail patch breaks plain text auth

I ran into that problem as well on Red Hat 9, but fixed it by merely copying
/etc/pam.d/smtp.sendmail to /etc/pam.d/smtp.

Sorry for missing this thread and not speaking up sooner, it's been hectic
around here.
