Moderately->little, depending on how you view it:-).
If you run MailWatch, you can get a nice timed and colorized SA --lint
run. Will show you where SA spends most time. Yes, the helper
application fork exec and "network wait" times can be somewhat long
for some of them, but generally not that bad...:-)
