newer clamscan causes sig 11

I've noticed recently in many of my systems that clamscan is dumping 
core on sig 11.

pid 42922 (clamscan), uid 125: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)
pid 61564 (clamscan), uid 125: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)
pid 91931 (clamscan), uid 125: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)

This only started happening when i updated it. Has anyone noticed this 
with recent versions? I am also using the rarlib patch. This is FreeBSD 
5 and 6.
