OT: signature protocol

I have a 2 line personal signature which you can see on the end of this
message. I'm also testing our corporate signature that I've been asked
to implement which you should also see after my personal one.

My question is, should the corporate sig have the initial '--' as in the
default inline.sig.{txt,html} files?

Not everyone will have a personal sig so perhaps it should be left in?
