I am looking at a system using ETRN and MailScanner. ETRN and the normal
sendmail run on different IP addresses with different .cf files. Mail is
delivered on the normal sendmail (with ETRN disabled), gets scanned and
is forwarded with mailertable entries to the etrn system which only
accepts incoming mail from the normal sendmail system (as far as I have
tested this now).

The ETRN system uses his own mail queue and there is no interaction on
queue level between the two sendmail instances.
