How did I turn off html emails?

Hi Guys

I know that this is not a good idea but I am getting calls about html 
e-mail looking like this

     http://www.google.co.uk/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official_s Images
     http://groups.google.co.uk/grphp?hl=en&tab=wg&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official_s Groups
     http://news.google.co.uk/nwshp?hl=en&tab=wn&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official_s News

I must have implemented a setting in MS that caused this can someone 
help point me in the right direction.
