If it was anyone else I'd be asking if you'd done the performane tuning 
stuff on the wiki.

There is some odd stuff going on with the dnsrbl at the moment. People 
on the nanog list are commenting on this.

Dunno is there is some other DDOS attacks going but also opendns are 
under attack right now. Might be worth looking at which DNS/RBL's you 
are using on this and seeing if you can work around of locally mirror RBLs.
