you need to attach a ruleset to anothter option so internal ip-addresses 
don't get scanned.. eg..

Spam Checks = %rules-dir%/internal.whitelist.rules

in internal.whitelist.rules

put

From:  192.168.1.	Yes
FromOrTo: default 	no
