What do you use? clamscan or clamavmodule (Mail::ClamAV).

clamscan: Search for ExtraScanOptions="" in the clamav-wrapper script
and add the following to it "--max-ratio=0", remember that setting this
would effectively disable some DOS protection within Clam. It should
look like this: ExtraScanOptions="--max-ratio=0"

Julian: do you recommend doing this? do you have any suggestions?

clamavmodule: Set "ArchiveMaxCompressionRatio 0" in clamd.conf since
Mail::ClamAV reads default values from clamd.conf (if found and
readable), also try simply deleting (move clamd.conf to a different
location OR 'chmod 000 clamd.conf')

Hope that helps, please make sure that you post your observations /
findings back to the list.
