Sudden increase in untagged SPAM

Have you seen a corresponding increase in the number of messages the spam filter
is tagging? i.e. has your false-negative percentage changed, or has there just
been a general spike in the total volume of spam?

I myself had a peak in "spam caught" yesterday that hasn't been seen since mid
August.
