Spam scores in headers

That's a typo on my part, I actually have updated it to 3.1, not 3.01.

I followed the instructions at
http://www.sng.ecs.soton.ac.uk/mailscanner/serve/cache/264.html. I then
renamed the local.cf file in /etc/mail/spamassassin as per the comments in
the /wetc/MailScanner/spam.assassin.prefs.conf file. A sample file can be
found at http://www.fsl.com/support/spam.assassin.prefs.conf.SA-3.0

This is the SA that is being distributed with the MailScanner RPM version. I
too have the SA 3.01 running.
How easy is it to migrate SA to the 3.1 version? I'm a bit leary at first
glance, knowing how it's been integrated with MailScanner, and all the
config files that may get over written accidentally.
