BitDefender updates using a proxy not working.. ..

Spike, I have not been able to get BitDefender to use a proxy server for
updates either.  I emailed BitDefender about it, and they told me that proxy
support was not available (at least not in the Linux version I was asking
them about).  Seems strange to have the option available in the .ini file,
and not be able to use it ...
