You probably have a configuration error. Please set 

	Debug = yes 

And if you are using SpamAssassin 

	Debug SpamAssassin = yes

In MailScanner.conf and restart MailScanner. The configuration error should
show up in the screen output. 

If you have a problem finding the error, please post the output to the list.
