Using the same Fedora development zlib source RPM and "rpmbuild
--rebuild zlib-1.2.2.2-1.src.rpm" and installing the resultant
zlib-devel-1.2.2.2-1.i386.rpm and zlib-1.2.2.2-1.i386.rpm worked here
fine on Fedora Core 1.

Cheers,

Phil
