The raw config file is usually /etc/mail/sendmail.cf

Look for:
O Timeout.queuereturn=2h
O Timeout.queuewarn=1h

The times shown here are 1 hour for warnings and two hours to return the
mail. The time can be set for 7d for seven days, etc.
