not in this case because i would test sendmail for itself without MS
--> sendmail produced the warning and did not delivered the mails.

All is working again after reinstalling sendmail and MS,
i hope that this will not happen on others MS updates under fedora core 3.

i do not know why sendmail stopped working while/after updating to the
latest MS (sendmail off, MS on) but
  # rpm -e sendmail
  # yum install sendmail
solved the problem and sendmail was working again.
i had deinstalled mailscanner before sendmail but it seems that this was
not necessary.


the permissions on /var/spool/clientmqueue are the same as before.

# ll /var/spool/ | grep mq
drwxrwx---   2 smmsp  smmsp   4096 28. Feb 14:01 clientmqueue
drwx------   2 root   mail    4096 28. Feb 14:01 mqueue
drwx------   2 root   root    4096 28. Feb 14:01 mqueue.in

i have
  enabled  prelink
  disabled  selinux
