Mailscanner Problem with Microsoft Outlook ?

SPAM - I deliver it.
It is a live server, if I debug it won't my production get affected? I mean
will users loose messages during my debugging session?
Also, Can I log MailScannner logs in seperate location other than that of my
MTA maillog?
