Allowing PDF files

At the risk of sounding like a stuck record....
Does MailScanner add an inline signature to the emails?
If so, turn this feature off and see if this sorts your issue out.
I had the same problem before and had to do just this.
I believe the setting is "Sign Clean Messages = no"
