Not a bad choice...
Actually, none of the distros would be terribly bad (after all: 
What one distro can do another distro...:-).
What we've been saying mostly is that they seem to be slightly
(and in the case of Mandrake not-so-slightly... or rather Very)
out-of-date, in regards to the versions they offer.
