Extra characters embedded in attachments

Well, you could upgrade (your mailscanner is half a year old or so) and do 
the same for ClamAV and other stuff that may touch this file. There#s no 
guarantee that it solves your problem, but without doing so, you'll never 
know if a newer version fixes this.
