Outgoing mail getting blocked

Thanks Scott, I'll have a look but won't that setting turn off the file
check feature for incoming mail as well?

Look for this in MailScanner.conf;
# The maximum depth to which zip archives will be unpacked, to allow for #
checking filenames and filetypes within zip archives.
