As far as I know, this is the "old folks home" for retired rulesets.
The Rules_Du_jour script migrates the replaced .cf's to this folder.
You could probably clean this out periodically.

So far, I've been capturing most spam at my site without the use of the
bayes system. I read that it can really be a resource hog, but
necessary of you get a lot of junk.
