Surely you mean "the", not "a"? I think it's this:

but why people would want to book annual leave for a mips-3 executable 
defeats me. Maybe they spend time studying the source or something?

I've worked out that I can spend my remaining leave this year by 
watching TV at work for 3 hours every day. Time to put my feet up :-)
