Microsoft's own email filtering

A thought about all this occurred to me last night.
In the doc and ppt it mentions that this was trialled first @ hotmail.
Now about 18months ago hotmail made a big thing about how they'd now
moved over to Brightmail for scanning. I wonder why hotmail moved and M$
corporate stuck with their own thing ....
