Building a Server from scratch

I have built a SUSE 9.2 system and want to start installing MailScanner.

What is the recommended order?

I want to start with MailScanner and test to see if it works
Then add SpamAssassin and test
Then DCC
Rayzor
Pyzor.

Would you agree with this?
