Emails are getting stuck in the mqueue.in directory

[ The following text is in the "ISO-8859-1" character set. ]
[ Your display is set for the "US-ASCII" character set. ]
[ Some characters may be displayed incorrectly. ]

That is what I was using before trying posix and I had the same problem.

      Hi Danny,

Sorry - I did not reply to the list. But it appears you have the
incorrect file locking type. MailScanner should be set to "flock"
not "posix" to clear the files.

Try that?
Hope it helps,
Chris

Subject: Emails are getting stuck in the mqueue.in directory

I'm running Linux with sendmail v8.12.10, MailScanner
v4.40.11, ClamAV and McAfee command line scanner. The problem
we have is that emails get stuck in the mqueue.in folder.
When there is new messages, we can see that there is some
getting stuck . In the log below we can see that it only gets
4 messages out but there is still 34 left, but after it is
done scanning, it doesn't go to grab the 34 messages left.
The content of the mqueue.in folder is listed after the
mailscanner log. I was using flock as the lock type before,
but the same problem occurs. There is also nothing in the
incoming folders. I am not sure if it is a setting that is
causing this or it is a bug. Thanks!!
