Mail Archiving (OT)

I would add archivedomain.com to /etc/mail/relay-domains. Then I'd use a
mailertable entry to tell sendmail where to send the mail:

archivedomain.com esmtp:[192.168.1.1]

Subject: Mail Archiving (OT)

I'm working with the "forward" command in a delivery ruleset for
MailScanner. I have the actual ruleset working just fine. However, the
archiving company that I have to forward the e-mail copies to has a bit of a
strange setup.

Here's the scenario:

Let's say I have to forward the e-mail copies to archive at archivedomain.com

But archivedomain.com does not actually have any A records. Further, it has
4 MX records that all point to bogus IP addresses.

I have been given the actual IP address and now have the responsibility of
configuring my server to ignore the public (bogus) DNS records and deliver
any mail that is addressed to archive at archivedomain.com to the IP address
I've been given.

I'm running FreeBSD 4.7 with Sendmail 8.13.1

Thanks in advance for any help.
