ExtUtils-MakeMaker-6.05 problem

I am trying to install MS 4.40.11-1 on a Linux machine. I have manually installed ExtUtils-MakeMaker-6.27 from cpan.org

During installation of MS the error I get is,

/usr/bin/instmodshX' = X ']'
+ /usr/lib/rpm/find-debuginfo.sh /usr/src/redhat/BUILD/ExtUtils-MakeMaker-6.05

find: /var/tmp/perl-ExtUtils-MakeMaker-6.05-1-root/usr/lib/debug: No such file or directory

Shouldn't MS skip the installation of ExtUtils-MakeMaker-6.05 because I have a newer version?

getOutputFrom(): Broken pipe

I already have the latest Net::CDIR, not sure why it is being installed.

HOw can I solve this?
