Error when Running MailScanner in Debug Mode

I wonder if anyone on the list can help me with this one.  I am using the
Patched MailWatch.pm

Can't modify non-lvalue subroutine call at
/opt/MailScanner/lib/MailScanner/MailWatch.pm line 93, <CLIENT> line 26.
