For some reason it doesn't work, you are quite right. I haven't been able
to figure out why. You need to set it in spam.assassin.prefs.conf as well.

Apparently they have done a lot of work on the auto-whitelisting and the
previous exploits against it don't work any more. I thought I would give it
a try and see if it actually works well now.
