Bitdefender probs - some questions

Don't comment out the bdc --update line in the script.  There was not
any issue with bdc --update, the problem was with the two calls to bdc
-vlist in the wrapper script.  Commenting those two lines out will solve
your problem (although the logging of updates may not indicate whether
an update actaully happened now).

I've not yet heard anything from bitdefender support and it would appear
that bdc --vlist is still broken.
