SA 3.0 + MailScanner Bayes issue!

I was looking at the spam.assassin.prefs.conf from this site, www.fsl.com/support.

Im wondering why the Multi surbl rules should be included in the prefs.conf again if its already part of the rules for SA3.0 located in this file?

config: read file /usr/share/spamassassin/25_uribl.cf

Seems like one would be duplicating the rules.

I still have the SURBL/URI files in /etc/mail/spamassassin. Are these
just not needed with SpamAssassin 3? They aren't causing any errors.
